Hand made by Mike Hurtado on Long Island NY, these one of a kind bowls are the envy of any knitter. Each bowl is signed and date by the artist.Nothing worse than having your balls roll away while you are trying to knit, well this will solve that problem.

The body of this stunning bowl is made of several layers of wood. The top and bottom rings are mahogany, and the center three rings are white maple, black cherry and white maple. It is 3 3/4" high and 6 1/2" wide, 3" deep. It also has a cut out that allowes the yarn to glide through effortlessly while knitting.

The bowl is handmade and have a texture to them. Each layer is hand cut, fitted together, then assembled. No portion is turned on a lathe. It is sanded by hand until the right texture and desired shape is achieved. The bowl is then sealed, and polished with several layers of aromatic Beeswax to achieve a deep natural luster.

Beautiful hardwoods and satin hand finish. 100% American made with love! Care for this item is minimal.  An occasional application of beeswax and a buffing with a soft cloth will enhance the sheen.  To slow the natural darkening process, keep out of direct sunlight.  Avoid exposure to sudden humidity and tempurature changes..
